Abstract
The Or So Im Told body of work was generated from an ongoing collection of vernacular, unofficial information about the city, with a humorous focus on ways of coping with the ailing economy.The interest in unofficial information stems from a concern regarding the politics of how place is described at a local level.The presentation discussed this body of work.
