Abstract
Inivited and curated Group exhibition , MoA, Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea, RMIT Australia and Burg Giebichenstein Halle. In the context of this exhibition series I explored possibilities and new techniques of drawing. It is a fusion of Asian and European knowledge, which I could study profoundly in Korea.I have chosen to present a work from a series of experimental drawings, which connect metal, salt or other objects on paper with techniques connected to traditional Asian painting.Drawing of the World, the World of Drawing, is an international exhibition of contemporary drawing. 26 Artists from nine countries exhibited over 72 works. It is supposed to achieve strong tension between the metal blocks. I use techniques form Asian Ink drawing and chemical reactions between salt, copper and ink in water. The suggestive title and the writing in the image are borrowed from the realm of natural science. They become poetry in this context.
