Abstract

Many silhouettes based features are proposed forgait recognition. But these methods suffer with covariate factorssuch as clothing and carrying objects. These covariate factorsmostly attached with silhouettes and make gait recognition muchdifficult. Therefore we proposed a new silhouette based feature toanalyse the influence of body parts and increase the recognitionrate for individual identification.
