Abstract
David Brittain, MMU conference convener, had presented Paolozzi's work for Ambit at my "Displaying Word and Image" conference, Belfast 2010., His conference concerned the relationship between Paolozzi and Ballard, as well as between reading literature and hybrid visual/textual works. My contribution could thus present research on literary art exhibitions to a specialized and welcoming audience.
