Abstract
This issue reflects the international ethos of the Journal of Research inNursing. The theme of the issue is the nursing workforce with papers fromScotland, England, Canada and Slovenia. What is heartening is that theproblems appear to be the same, regardless of geography, culture or politicalparty. What is worrying is that the solutions are not always shared. It ishoped that these papers will stimulate the sharing of ideas and strategies.
