Abstract
The Architecture Department at the University of Ulster, has worked in partnership with Friends of Woodvale Park (FWP) to produce a design brief for The Woodvale HUB. (See attached PDF) As a continuation of this process the Architecture Department has developed the Woodvale Park HUB as a student project through which to generate new ideas, advance the original proposal, and establish a dialogue between local people and students. This proved remarkable successful with presentation and exhibition of the student projects occurring in Woodvale Park with participation form the public and representatives of various authorities and agencies attending. A number of newspaper articles and TV documentary also covered the project; featuring the partnership between Communities, BCC, and The University of Ulster
