Pictures of Otherness is an ongoing participatory photographic, moving, image and text project exploring living with HIV in Northern Ireland.I received an award in 2009, from the N.Ireland Arts Council to facilitate the production of the project. The project has two main aims:1. To facilitate individuals whose lives, in some way, have been impacted by HIV/AIDS to create and exhibitphotographic and textual work representative of their own experience. To date, participants have includedindividuals living with HIV, professionals working in the treatment of HIV, young people, and individuals whofeel that they have something to say about the issue. I am planning to include work from for 10-12participants.2. To produce a moving image/photographic portrait of each participant
