Abstract

Partnerships between government and community are examined through the lenses of the Community Futures program in Cape Breton (Nova Scotia). These experiments failed and revealed the cultural divide between bureaucrats and community.Recognition, Nova Scotia, Community Futures program, evaluation, trust.
