Abstract
The present study concentrates on the potential of Dissolving Boundaries to enhance and perhaps transform teaching and learning. The study pays particular attention to elements present in the programme that could facilitate change in the classroom, such as:• the use of ICT in the classroom• regular contact between schools in different jurisdictions on the island of Ireland and the implications of this for North South understanding• the impact of face-to-face meetings of pupils • teamwork within the classroom and from classroom to classroom of partner schools.
